Chelsea wins Champions League

Heroic actions of Didier Drogba and Peter Cech deliver Chelsea to be the 5th English football club after Manchester United, Liverpool, Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa.

Through penalty shootout, Drogba and Cech deliver that club from London to become the winners of the Champions League for the first time to the club.
It is Drogba that saves Chelsea from defeat, protects the hope from the club that’s coached by Roberto Di Mateo and insures Chelsea’s victory, while Cech becomes the other hero because of blocking two penalty kicks from Bayern Munchen.

Chelsea had worried after Bayern’s goalkeeper, Neuer blocks the first penalty from Juan Mata, otherwise Bayern succeeded in the first kick from Philipp Lahm.

Mario Gomez also succeeded, and also Neuer becomes the executioner. But Chelsea’s last four executioners, David Luiz, Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole and of course Drogba succeeded completing the shootout.

Otherwise, Bayern’s last two executioners, Ivica Olic and Bastian Schweinsteiger fails to defeat Peter Cech. Cech blocks Olic’s kick cleanly, while Schweinsteiger’s kick hits the goalpost’s pole.
Competing at Bayern Munchen’s home field at the Allianz Arena to undergo the Champions League Final doesn’t make Chelsea nervous, otherwise with discipline to execute the latch system, which is almost perfect.

Bayern who presses hard through the game must wait 83 minutes to score a goal.
Using the cross from Diego Contento, Thomas Muller strikes and thrust the ball to the ground to trick Peter Cech who thought the ball was going above him. Bayern 1, Chelsea 0.
But Bayern’s happiness only last for 5 minutes, Because Didier Drogba similize the score in minute 88 of the game.

Using his head, Drogba scores a goal with the help of Juan Mata’s corner kick. Bayern 1, Chelsea 1.
The score 1-1 stays until 90 minutes of normal fottball match time so the match is extended for 30 minutes.
In just 3 minutes of the extra time given, Drogba gets a yellow card because of tackling Frank Ribery. The bad news is it’s in the penalty box. Bayern is given a penalty shootout.

Sadly, Arjen Robben who intimidates Chelsea using the media fails to do his task as an executioner; otherwise Peter Cech was doing the task brilliantly.

The match is continued with a penalty shootout and Chelsea finishes the task with the score 4-3, while the final score is 5-4.
