IACF 2012

HIV/AIDS have become a serious problem for many countries,including Indonesia. There have been more than 400.000 case of HIV/AIDS in Indonesia in 2010 and the increase of the problem is very significant.

Without a serious plan to solve this problem, the victim will become more and more each year into 2,18 million in 2025. If we make a serious plan the increation number will be less than 912 thousands.This data support by National Aids Comission United Nations General Assembly Special Session (NAC UNGASS).

For fixing this problem many professional peoples involved in a group name iVoice. They are peoples with high social attention who want to take a part with many activities that can help people with HIV/AIDS.

One of their activities is The Internaitonal AIDS Candlelight Fetival (IACF) 2012 and the theme is Promoting Health and Dignity Together that will be held in 26-27 Mei 2012.This activity hope can make people care to AIDS/HIV problem. And raising fund for  international communitry to anticipating and curing HIV/AIDS.

“We make this for celebrating AIDS night international, that always be held in 20 May each year” said Dody who trusted to be Media Coordinator for IACF 2012.

This year IACF is different from the same activity in the past year, because this year iVoice invite more people and this event make for people from all community  like student, government, media, including artist.

IACF 2012 will make session that based on 3 principe educate,entertain and raising fund. One of the event is workshop with the experts of HIV/AIDS, discussion with panelists, discussion between teenager, auction for art commodity,art exhibition, Charity Gala Dinner and many more.

HIV/AIDS not only the government problem but  all society. Therefore we must be proactive and not only waiting the government or international community to handle this HIV/AIDS problem.

“We hope 1000-2000 peoples will attends this event each day” said Dody.
